I DO know who hates America more…
Mark Penn, Democratic consultant to Hillary Clinton, is the kind of weasel that could get himself an executive producer job with Rush Limbaugh, or be Ann Coulter’s date on New Year’s Eve (though she might suck his blood when the clock strikes twelve). Said Penn: “[Obama’s] roots to basic American values and culture are at best limited. I cannot imagine America electing a president during a time of war who is not at his center fundamentally American in his thinking and in his values.”
This sounds exactly like something a Repuglican would say–a Cheney or a Rove or a Limbaugh or a Hannity. But actually, even they haven’t quite quite sunk that low. They’ve hovered at the edges, but Penn’s comments are about the most below-the-belt Obama’s yet had to deal with on the “turban” issue.
The Swift Boaters must be taking notes right now.
So the Democrats are just as disgusting as the Repiglicans. More, really. Ever see a GOPer turn on his compatriots like that?
I’ve never been a fan of the Clintons or their coterie, but I also didn’t think they were this low. They’d have to swim up to be bottom-feeders. They must have giant alters at home dedicated to their self-worship. Their latest actions just reveal that both have serious personality disorders and must have the spotlight shining blindingly on them them them all the time. They make Joe Stalin look self-effacing by comparison.
It’s bad enough that Democrats have had to deal with Republicans stealing elections from them. Now they have to deal with other Democrats trying to steal them too?
As for the convention, at which Hillary will place herself into the nomination, Barack Obama said the following: “I am convinced that honoring Sen. Clinton’s historic campaign in this way will help us celebrate this defining moment in our history and bring the party together in a strong, united fashion.”
He’s far too kind. And nice guys, especially in politics, lose to scheming cheaters and manipulated. And Obama’s being manipulated.
As for Penn, I’ll bet the Clintons will soon see the day that he goes over to the other side, accepting a spot on Fox News, smearing every Democrat he can and writing a series of tell-all books. I’m sure Hillary realizes already that his loyalty is skin-deep, but she doesn’t care—as long as he helps her now, she’ll sell her soul and be his enabler. Seems like politics from both parties will say and do absolutely anything, depending on who’s willing to pay them to do it. Greed, said Gordon Gekko, is good.
